Acceptable Use
What Tolavo may not be used for, and what Tolavo does about it. Part of the Terms by reference.
This page states what Tolavo does, which is checkable in the product rather than dependent on any company detail. It is complete as it stands.
02The rules
Six, and each one is enforced somewhere in the product.
- No unlawful or infringing use
- Including using Tolavo to deliver an AI product you have no right to sell.
- No attacking anyone
- Tolavo checks the address of every system it is pointed at and refuses anything resolving to an internal network. That refusal is a control, not a policy sentence.
- No credential sharing at scale
- An account belongs to a person. Colleagues get their own, with their own role.
- No misrepresenting what your AI does
- Tolavo publishes what you claim to your buyers. A proposal room is a document a customer reads and relies on.
- No circumventing limits
- Quotas, rate limits and approval gates are part of the product, not obstacles in it.
- No using Tolavo to harm people
- Including generating material that abuses, defrauds or endangers somebody.
03What happens
Stated as what Tolavo does, not as a threat.
Where a rule is broken, Tolavo may hold or suspend the account. A suspension cannot be recorded without a reason — the server refuses one that carries none, on every path there is — and the reason is shown to the account holder the next time they try to sign in, after their password is accepted, along with who suspended it and when. Tolavo does not degrade a service quietly and leave somebody guessing why their work stopped. Nothing is deleted as a punishment: an account that is suspended is an account whose records still exist. While the suspension stands that person cannot sign in to export them themselves — an administrator in their workspace still can, and anybody may ask for their own data through the privacy contact address below.
